ABOUT US
Located in North Albany, The Barn was created to be more than a taproom. It’s a place where local businesses, musicians, food vendors,
families, friends, and
neighbors can come together all under one roof or in the great outdoors
The Barn is proudly owned and operated by Brian, Stacey, and Alex Hovelsrud. Their ties to Albany and the surrounding communities run deep, and supporting the community has always been an important part of who they are. From supporting local organizations and nonprofits to creating opportunities for small businesses and local artists, giving back is something we believe in—not just something we talk about.

Who We Are
Inside The Barn, you’ll find a constant rotating selection of beer, cider, wine, kombucha, and non-alcoholic options, along with 14 food carts offering everything from quick bites to full meals. There’s a little something for just about everyone.
But what really makes The Barn special is the people. Throughout the year, we host live music, fundraisers, tap takeovers, seasonal events, and community gatherings. Whether you’re here for lunch or dinner, meeting friends for a drink, listening to music on the lawn, or simply looking for somewhere to relax, we hope you feel right at home.
We’re proud to work alongside local musicians, food cart owners, breweries/cider houses/ nonprofits, and other small businesses. When they succeed, our community gets stronger—and that’s something worth supporting.
We’re grateful to call this community home, and we’re thankful to everyone who walks through our doors and helps make The Barn what it is.
